The joint-stock company Nevinnomyssk Production Association Kvant (currently the Measurement Equipment Factory Energomera) was established with incorporation of the Kvant Plant JSC at same time.
Controlling interests in the joint-stock companies Electronic Materials and Devices Plant Analog in Stavropol and Glazunovskiy Condenser Plant Signal in Orel region were acquired.
The following joint-stock companies were founded by the Concern: the Monocrystal Synthetic Corundum Factory in Stavropol and the Agricultural Enterprise Pobeda in Ladovskaya Balka Settlement, Stavropol Krai.
The share capital of the Concern grew within this period to 15 million rubles.
Controlling interests in the joint-stock companies Izumrud Plant (currently the Electrotechnical Factory Energomera) in Stavropol and Stavropolagropromstroi in Stavropol were acquired.

The joining of the Electrotechnical Factory Energomera JSC to the Concern was completed that ended a process of a converting of the electrotechnical companies to a single share.
The company began to invest in building of an electricity meters plant in Ukraine; the Kharkov Electrotechnical Factory Energomera JSC with representative functions for the Concern in the Ukraine was founded.
The electricity meters in the product range were substituted by the fifth-generation devices.
The electricity meters production capacity reached 220 thousand units per month, which strengthened the leadership of the Concern in the electricity meters market; the company's share increased to 38%. The Concern took the 11th place among 23 leaders of the global electricity meters production market according to the rating of the British company ABS Research.
Controlling interests were acquired in the Pyatigorskselmash JSC, which produces equipment for the poultry industry; the Concern becomes an owner of the Atlas PCF JSC, the Russia’s second largest manufacturer of synthetic sapphires after the Monocrystal Company, as well as the agricultural enterprise Khleborob LLC, Saraev LLC and Medvezhenskoe JSC in Stavropol region that resulted in an increase of Concern’s crop areas by 30 thousand hectares. The Concern got into the top three of Russian leading agricultural enterprises according to the national rating «100 Largest Grain Producers in Russia».
A delivery of ultra-large 8-inch sapphire wafers was started. A production of a full range of pastes for metallization of solar cells was mastered.
A restructuring of company’s business units continued: The Pyatigorskselmash JSC was restructured through split-off of the Pyatigorskselmash CJSC. The restructuring of the Electronic Materials and Components business unit was completed; the Concern Energomera JSC was reorganized through split-off of the Monocrystal CJSC, which became a 100% subsidiary of the Concern. Subsidiaries of the Concern from the Electronic Materials and Components business unit were integrated into a group of companies with the Monocrystal CJSC at its head.
